A healthcare organization in Sheffield seeks a Support Worker to assist individuals with diverse needs, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. Key responsibilities include building therapeutic relationships and implementing care plans under supervision. Candidates should have achieved a Grade 4 in Maths and English and possess two years of experience as a Health Care Support Worker. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary range of £24,071 to £25,674 per year.
People who use our services are from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of needs which may include mental health, learning disabilities or dementia.
As a support worker you will be working closely with individuals, enabling them to live their lives and with support from a multi‑disciplinary team of nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers and doctors.
We will offer induction and training which will give you the skills to feel confident in your role.
Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a visa which allows you to work in the UK, you are welcome to apply for this role however it is important to note that SHSC will be unable to offer sponsorship after your visa expires. You must also have at least 12 months on your visa at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
