About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our friendly team in Wirral.

As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and a sense of security for our residents. You’ll build close relationships with residents and their families, ensuring that every individual receives truly personalised care.

Location: Wirral
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: Negotiable

Tasks

Support residents to maintain their dignity, individuality, and independence at all times.

Assist with daily living activities and provide personal care (e.g., washing, dressing, feeding).

Help with the general day-to-day running of the home.

Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Keep accurate records and documentation as required.

Requirements

You will have, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

  • Ideally, you will have at least one year’s experience in a similar care role.
  • You are compassionate, patient, and have a natural ability to connect with others.
  • You have excellent communication skills and a caring, positive attitude.
  • You can manage your time effectively and understand the importance of good record-keeping.
