About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our friendly team in Wirral.

As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and a sense of security for our residents. You’ll build close relationships with residents and their families, ensuring that every individual receives truly personalised care.

Location: Wirral

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Negotiable

Tasks
  • Support residents to maintain their dignity, individuality, and independence at all times.
  • Assist with daily living activities and provide personal care (e.g., washing, dressing, feeding).
  • Help with the general day-to-day running of the home.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation as required.
Requirements

You will have, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

  • Ideally, you will have at least one year’s experience in a similar care role.
  • You are compassionate, patient, and have a natural ability to connect with others.
  • You have excellent communication skills and a caring, positive attitude.
  • You can manage your time effectively and understand the importance of good record-keeping.
