The Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing team. You will support individuals in their own homes to live the life they choose, helping them maintain their health, well-being, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care and practical support in clients' homes
  • Supporting clients to make their own decisions and maintain independence
  • Assisting with daily activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping
  • Offering companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lifestyles
  • Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other carers
  • Helping maintain clients' health, safety, and well-being
  • Medication Administration.
Skills & Abilities - What We're Looking For
  • Essential: Ability to work on your initiative and as part of a team
  • Understanding of the needs of older people, people with dementia, and/or learning disabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to providing respectful, person-centred care
  • Willingness to undertake training and development
  • Desirable: Flexible, innovative, and proactive approach
  • Experience with care planning systems
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Experience & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a care/support environment
  • Good general education
  • Knowledge of health & safety in care settings
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards (Desirable)
  • First aid, manual handling, food hygiene, and other relevant training (Desirable)
Other Requirements
  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS check
  • Self-motivation, flexibility, reliability, and honesty
