Mandatory Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
  • 15 Standards of Care Certificate (Care Certificate).
Training and Competence in
  • Medication administration.
  • PEG feeding.
  • Catheter care.
  • Stoma care.
  • Tracheostomy care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients in their own homes.
  • Supporting with personal care needs, including washing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
  • Administering medication safely in line with policy and training.
  • Providing specialist support with PEG feeding, catheter management, stoma care, and tracheostomy care as required.
  • Encouraging independence, dignity, and choice in all aspects of daily living.
  • Building trusting relationships with clients and their families, respecting individual needs and preferences.
  • Accurately recording and reporting care delivered, incidents, and changes in client wellbeing.
