Job summary

Blackpool Council is recruiting Casual Health & Wellbeing Instructors to support residents across Blackpool Sports Centre, Palatine Leisure Centre and Moor Park Health & Leisure Centre. You’ll help people move more, build confidence and pursue healthier lifestyles in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

The role offers casual hours across several sites, with training and development to support progression in Health & Wellbeing activities within the community.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification.
• Level 3 Exercise Referral qualification or be willing to work towards with our support.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Passionate about health, movement and wellbeing.
• Able to work flexibly across leisure sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver gym inductions and develop programmes.
• Provide advice and motivate participants to reach health goals.
• Support individuals of all ages and abilities to become more active.

Whether you're delivering gym inductions, developing programmes, providing advice or encouraging people to take their first steps towards a healthier lifestyle, every day offers the chance to positively impact someone's life.
