Job Title: Lecturer in Health and Social Care

Location: UK Management College - Manchester Campus

We are open to both full-time and part-time applications.

Job Purpose:

As a Lecturer in Health and Social Care, you will design, develop, and deliver undergraduate teaching materials, ensure high-quality educational experiences, and contribute to research and practice in the field. You will also guide students, support field activities, and foster collaborative learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching & Curriculum Development: Deliver engaging lectures, develop curriculum materials aligned with industry standards, and apply varied teaching techniques.
  • Student Assessment & Support: Supervise projects and placements, develop assessment methods, and support students academically and pastorally.
  • Research & Scholarship: Engage in scholarly activities, collaborate on research, seek funding, and establish links with health and social care providers.
  • Administrative & Quality Assurance: Manage academic duties, ensure compliance with quality standards, and contribute to program reviews and accreditation.
Person Specification:
  • Qualifications: Master's degree in Health and Social Care or related; PhD preferred; teaching qualification or willingness to pursue one.
