Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Qualifications Assessor with extensive experience in health and social care, including qualifications and assessments. Join the Qualifications Care team within one of the UK's largest housing, care, and commercial services organizations.

As a Qualifications Assessor, you will support care and support staff in achieving their health and social care qualifications, ranging from Level 2 to Level 5. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting a caseload of approximately 40 learners across central and southern England.
  • Visiting staff regularly to support progress and provide guidance.
  • Assisting learners with electronic portfolio systems to ensure evidence meets qualification criteria.
  • Attending monthly standardisation meetings (via Teams or at Worcester Head Office).
  • Participating in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities to maintain assessment competency.
Skills and Experience
  • Education at Level 3 or TAQA Levels 3, or D32/33 qualification (or equivalent).
  • Recent experience in assessing health and social care qualifications.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Familiarity with qualification quality assurance systems (a plus).
  • Ability to plan and manage your own time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Oxfordshire and Southern regions.
Working Hours

35 hours per week, with occasional overnight stays as required.
