Qualifications

  • 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food sector.
  • Understanding of safety systems, auditing, and compliance.
  • Associate or Technical IOSH membership or working towards it.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate incidents and identify improvements.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Coach managers and supervisors on health and safety responsibilities.
  • Drive safety campaigns and continuous improvement projects.

About Our Client

Job Description
  • Investigating incidents and identifying improvements
  • Conducting inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Coaching managers and supervisors on H&S responsibilities
  • Supporting training, inductions, and contractor controls
  • Driving safety campaigns, initiatives, and continuous improvement projects
  • Deputising for the H&S Manager when needed

Monday- Friday 08.30 - 17.00

The Successful Applicant
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (EQF Level 4)
  • 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment (food preferred)
  • Associate or Technical IOSH membership (or working towards it)
  • Understanding of safety systems, auditing, and legislative compliance
  • Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for keeping people safe
