Health & Safety Officer – Cardiff | 40,000 - 45,000 + Pension + Car Allowance + Training + Career Progression + Immediate Start

An excellent opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety Officer to join a growing, forward-thinking construction and building services contractor. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving safety standards across multiple sites, supporting a dynamic team delivering projects throughout South Wales and the surrounding areas.

You will be joining a close-knit, energetic team with a modern approach - ideally suited to someone confident, proactive, and keen to take ownership of their role while working closely with site teams and management.

Your Role as Health & Safety Officer will include:
  • Managing and monitoring health and safety standards across construction and M&E project sites
  • Carrying out site inspections, risk assessments, and audits, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements
  • Supporting site teams with safety planning, documentation, and ongoing training initiatives
The successful Health & Safety Officer will have:
  • A NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (degree-level ideal, but lower-level certifications considered with experience)
  • Proven experience within the construction or building services industry
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
