This is a key role, responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of workplace health and safety across the organisation.

Role details

• Position: Health and Safety Officer
• Salary: £45,000
• Working hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Location: Croydon

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop companywide health & safety policies, risk assessments, audits, and training
• Deliver inductions, conduct safety walkarounds, and lead H&S committee meetings
• Analyse incident trends, implement corrective actions, and prepare board-level reports
• Ensure all training, inspections, and safety documentation is up to date and compliant
• Maintain all relevant accreditations (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001)

Essential Experience / Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar Health & Safety role
• NEBOSH or equivalent qualification preferred
• Strong understanding of H&S legislation and audit processes
• A valid UK driving licence - some travel to UK sites will be required on occasion
