Health & Safety Manager - Construction

Location: Warwickshire

Salary: Up to £50,000 + £5,000 car allowance + private medical

Type: Permanent, Full-time

A well established construction and building maintenance company is seeking a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Manager to join their growing team. The business delivers a wide range of projects across commercial, education, NHS, and local authority sectors and employs around 50 people directly. This role is both office and site-based, with no hybrid or home working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and update Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Construction Phase Plans
  • Compile and manage project Health & Safety completion files
  • Maintain and oversee ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and environmental accreditations
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, providing reports and recommendations for improvement
  • Manage PPE supplies and ensure correct usage across the workforce
  • Lead the Health & Safety training programme for employees
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Health & Safety, ideally within construction
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and auditing processes
  • Confident in performing inspections, audits, and compliance checks
  • Full UK driving licence
