Health & Safety Manager Food Production

West Kent c. GBP50,000 with an OTE of GBP54,000

Are you a NEBOSH–qualified Health & Safety professional with a proven background in Food or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing?

What You ll Do

• Lead Health & Safety Strategy: Assess, improve, and implement H&S systems across high–risk manufacturing environments.
• Manage Risk & Compliance: Conduct audits, oversee risk assessments, and ensure adherence to legislation and best practice.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate across teams to embed safety excellence and deliver practical, positive change.
• Investigate & Prevent: Lead accident and near–miss investigations, ensuring corrective measures are embedded effectively.
• Emergency Preparedness: Develop and test emergency response plans, ensuring site readiness.
• Training & Culture: Build internal engagement through training and proactive communication to strengthen safety ownership.

You will have:

• Proven experience in Health & Safety within Food or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
• NEBOSH/IOSH certification (Level 3 minimum)
• Excellent organisational and communication skillsA strong record of improving H&S processes and driving behavioural change
• Confident IT skills and attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
