Job summary

Vorenta Group is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead our health and safety strategy across multiple sites. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape our approach, drive compliant practices and foster a strong safety culture.

This hybrid role, based at the Head Office in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, involves regular travel across the UK and responsibility for vehicle fleet safety and PPE programmes, in collaboration with operations teams.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience managing health and safety across multiple sites or field-based operations.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and ISO 45001.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into incidents and implement preventative actions.
• Monitor legislative changes and ensure ongoing UK HSE compliance.
• Manage health and safety aspects of vehicle fleet and PPE programme.
• Work closely with operational managers to embed a positive safety culture across the organisation.

TheRole

AsourHealth&SafetyManager,you'llberesponsiblefordeveloping,implementingandcontinuouslyimprovingourhealthandsafetymanagementsystemsacrossmultiplesites.

Yourresponsibilitieswillinclude:

Leadinginvestigationsintoincidentsandimplementingpreventativeactions.

MonitoringlegislativechangesandensuringongoingcompliancewithUKHSErequirements.

ManaginghealthandsafetyaspectsofourvehiclefleetandPPEprogramme.

Workingcloselywithoperationalmanagerstoembedapositivesafetyculturethroughoutthe organisation.

ArecognisedNEBOSHqualification(orequivalent).

AfullUKdrivinglicenceandwillingnesstotravelnationally.

Abackgroundinmanufacturingwouldbehighlyadvantageous,particularlywithinthefoodormeatprocessing industry,althoughthisisn'tessential.We'reequallyinterestedincandidateswiththerightattitude,strong technicalknowledgeandahands-onapproach.
