Health and Safety Manager | Evesham | £50,000-£60,000 Plus Car Allowance and Additional Benefits

If these questions resonate, this Health and Safety Manager role could be a great fit - joining Primafruit, a £200 million turnover business central to the Fresca Group. The business works primarily out of its flagship site in Evesham, sitting as the sole supplier of fresh produce to Waitrose & Partners. This role directly reports into the board of directors, sitting as an important part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Responsibilities

• Owning day‑to‑day health and safety management across both operational and office environments, working closely with production and quality teams.
• Supporting and guiding managers and team leaders to embed safe working practices across all areas of the site.
• Leading on ISO 45001 accreditation and maintaining ISO 14001 systems, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement across the business.
• Driving cultural engagement - helping all colleagues, regardless of role, to feel part of a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a health and safety role within manufacturing, logistics, or similar operational environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at all levels - from shop floor to senior leadership.
• A practical, approachable style that builds trust and encourages accountability.
• NEBOSH (or equivalent) as a minimum; a diploma or experience with ISO systems would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
