Responsibilities

  • Manage risks related to racking, FLT's, lifting operations, and manual handling.

Skills

Good understanding and working knowledge of LOLER
Experience with racking inspection (Sema or equivalent)
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team

Overview

A small warehousing and distribution company with three small warehouses in the Brighton area is looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team on a part‑time basis. You will oversee on‑site Health and Safety. The main risks on these sites will be racking, FLT's, lifting operations (LOLER), DSE and manual handling.

Health & Safety Manager – Person Requirements
  • Hold a minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • Member of IOSH
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of LOLER
  • Experience with racking inspection (Sema or equivalent)
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
