Are you a dynamic and hands–on Health & Safety Manager ready to make a real impact in a fast–growing manufacturing business?

We re looking for a proactive individual to lead and evolve our health and safety function across a complex production, blending, and warehouse environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of H&S in a business that s scaling rapidly and values common–sense, practical solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own and implement a robust Health & Safety Management System, conducting gap analysis and driving improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with key regulations including COSHH, PUWER, ATEX, LOLER, and DSEAR.
  • Lead fire and risk assessments, manage audits (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001), and support waste handling strategies.
  • Engage with stakeholders across logistics, manufacturing, and facilities to embed a safety–first culture.
  • Deliver training, mentor teams, and support change management initiatives.
  • Strategically zoom out to plan and zoom in to deliver balancing vision with hands–on execution.
What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified Health & Safety Manager (NEBOSH General Certificate with Fire essential; Diploma desirable).
  • Experience in manufacturing environments ideally with exposure to blending vessels, chemicals, and logistics.
  • Strong auditing experience and familiarity with ISO standards.
  • A confident communicator who can influence at all levels and bring energy to training and engagement.
  • Someone with a can–do attitude, ready to be a one–person H&S powerhouse.
