About the Role

We are seeking experienced Asbestos Responsible Persons / Health and Safety Managers to support asbestos management and compliance activities across a large, complex infrastructure environment.

The successful candidates will act as the Asbestos Responsible Person, ensuring compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations and internal asbestos management standards.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in asbestos management or related health & safety roles
  • Strong understanding of asbestos compliance and related legislation (e.g., Control of Asbestos Regulations, CDM Regulations)
  • Proven experience managing asbestos across multiple asset types (buildings, structures, infrastructure)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and methodical approach to compliance
Responsibilities
  • Act as the designated Asbestos Responsible Person for allocated areas or assets
  • Maintain and update asbestos records and documentation
  • Develop remits and specifications for asbestos surveys and remediation works
  • Undertake site inspections and compliance audits
  • Liaise effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
  • Provide expert asbestos management and technical advice
  • Lead or contribute to asbestos compliance improvement projects
