We re working with a privately owned specialist contractor known for delivering complex structural schemes. As part of their ongoing growth, they re looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager to take the lead on a technically demanding redevelopment project in Central London.

Health & Safety Manager – Up to GBP80,000 – Structural Projects – Central London

The opportunity

• Site–based role on a major London redevelopment acting as Principal Contractor
• Involves demolition, structural alterations, concrete and wider packages
• Long term permanent role, progressing into a multi–site position across future projects

Key duties include:

• Leading Health & Safety delivery on site
• Carrying out inductions, inspections, audits, and incident investigations
• Reviewing and supporting the development of RAMS
• Monitoring compliance across subcontractors and direct labour
• Working with site–based H&S professionals and reporting to the Group H&S Manager

We re looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years experience in construction Health & Safety
• Comes from a background in Major Construction, Demolition, Cut & Carve or similar structural projects
• Can manage multiple stakeholders in a live construction environment
