Health and Safety Manager | Bradford | Circa £50,000

Could you see yourself leading all Health and Safety matters at their busy flagship Bradford site, coordinating with senior stakeholders on a regular basis?

We're delighted to be working with one of the leading providers of packaging solutions in the North, to secure a new Health and Safety Manager.

The organisation has an excellent reputation in the industry, with a long history of successful business.

This role is specifically responsible for their flagship site and will lead on all Health and Safety matters.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the site is compliant with UK legislation.
• Engaging with staff across the site to drive improvement within Health and Safety.
• Auditing Health and Safety performance, accurately reporting and investigating any incidents, accidents or near misses.
• Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders including senior management, operational staff and external regulators.
• Leading on new initiatives and always seeking opportunities to improve and develop Health and Safety performance.

Requirements

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with manufacturing, FMCG or heavy industrial background.
• NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience engaging colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders.
• A strong technical knowledge across relevant Health and Safety.
