Job summary

Tarmac is offering a Health & Safety Graduate position at Dunbar, designed to rotate across Operations, Engineering and Logistics. You’ll gain hands-on experience while contributing to our H&S strategy and supporting safe production of cementitious products.

During the programme you’ll develop core skills in leadership, communication and safety compliance, with structured development through our Graduate Core Skills programme and exposure to multiple sites.

Qualifications

• A degree in any discipline.
• Willingness to travel across the UK & Ireland.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: strong organisational, communication and analytical skills.
• Desirable: safety-first mindset; curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of our Health & Safety Management System to ISO 45001 standards.
• Communicate and roll out H&S initiatives, standards and procedures.
• Provide on-site H&S presence across multiple locations.
• Review incident statistics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support site audits and engage with contractors and customers.
• Participate in cross-functional projects across multiple sites and through the Graduate Core Skills Development Programme.
