Overview

With manufacturing facilities located across the world we now require a Health and Safety coordinator to join the group. You will be working for a first‑class manufacturing business that produces and refines a product that is always in need, offering true job security.

This role would suit those that are looking for that next step in their Health and Safety career and looking to grow within the role – the company is a larger employer and can offer the scope for progression, learning, development/training and courses.

Key responsibilities of the Health and Safety coordinator role

To provide support to the EHS Manager, SHEQ Team as well as Operations & Engineering Departments to assist in facilitating a safe workplace, fostering safe behaviours and implementation of site and group policies and procedures, and always working towards continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate / Health and Safety coordinator may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually
  • Previous experience working within a Manufacturing/production/engineering environment within a Health and Safety focused role.
  • Hands‑on experience of audits, writing reports and driven by continuous improvement.
  • Minimum IOSH Managing Safely
  • NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health or working towards
  • Train the trainer desirable
  • Strong IT skills Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Langley Mill, Heanor, Ilkeston, Nottingham, Derby, Alfreton and surrounding areas.
