Job summary

A leading company in health and safety is seeking an experienced HSE professional in Bradford to maintain HSE management systems, conduct risk assessments, and deliver training. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH qualification and proven experience in a similar role, along with strong analytical and communication skills. The position offers a 36-hour week with flexible start times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar HSE role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ideally some working knowledge of ISO14001.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the company’s HSE management systems in line with ISO 14001.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to staff.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and environmental impact reduction strategies.

  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation and best practices.
