Lighthouse Risk Services LLP is a national firm of Health & Safety and Employment Law consultants with offices in Leeds. We are an eminent organization bringing a positive approach to Health and Safety and Employment Law. Our services also include Fire Risk Assessments, Asbestos Surveys, CDM, and Health & Safety Training.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Health and Safety Consultant/Fire Risk Assessor to support our growing business.

Your main duties will include:

  1. Conducting Health & Safety Audits and Reviews of Safe Working Practices
  2. Performing Fire Risk Assessments across various properties
  3. Carrying out Independent Contract Site Inspections
  4. Assisting with the formulation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  5. Preparing Policy Documentation
  6. Conducting Safety Training Courses
  7. Providing Support and Advice to clients
  8. Assisting with SSIP Accreditation Applications and Tender Documentation
  9. Undertaking Specialist Surveys and Assessments (qualification dependent)

The ideal candidate will hold the NEBOSH General/Fire Certificate (or equivalent). Membership in IOSH or IFE is advantageous, as is the P402 certificate in Asbestos Surveying. Previous experience in providing H&S consultancy or Fire Risk Assessment services in a customer-facing environment is desirable.

This role is home-based, with most time spent servicing clients nationwide, which may require occasional overnight stays.

A full driving licence is essential due to travel requirements.
