Job description

We are seeking a highly professional and commercially minded Health and Safety Consultant to join our established consultancy team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of corporate clients, providing strategic guidance and practical support to strengthen their health, safety and compliance performance. Based in Telford but working with clients nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver expert consultancy services including audits, inspections and comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Develop, review and implement robust health and safety policies, management systems and improvement plans.
  • Provide authoritative advice aligned with UK legislation and recognised industry standards.
  • Lead incident investigations and support clients with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Prepare high-quality technical reports, board-level briefings and compliance documentation.
  • Facilitate training programmes and stakeholder engagement sessions to drive a positive safety culture.
Candidate Profile
  • Demonstrate experience in a health and safety advisory or consultancy role, preferably within a corporate or multi-site environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant UK legislation, standards and best practice guidance.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and client-relationship skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and influence decision-making.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (minimum); NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to client sites as required.
