Job summary

RoSPA in the United Kingdom is seeking a Health and Safety Consultant specializing in Water and Leisure to join its expert team. The role is home-based with travel to client sites, particularly around London, Kent, Essex and East Anglia.

You will deliver water and leisure consultancy to members of the public, potential customers, and clients, including safety reviews, manage enquiries with SLA timelines, and lead on enquiries from the public and developers.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certification or equivalent required.
• Interest or experience in water and leisure safety.
• Willingness to travel to sites across Greater London, Kent, Essex and East Anglia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver water and leisure consultancy to public and clients, including reviews.

This is a home-based role with travel to client and sites around London in particular Kent, Essex and East Anglia.

As a Health and Safety Consultant in Water and leisure you will:

• Deliver water and leisure consultancy to members of the public, potential customers, and clients, including SuDS/water safety reviews and desktop reviews.
• To manage enquiries and requests that come into the department and ensure responses are given within agreed SLA timeframes.
• To lead on advice and enquiries received from the public and developers regarding water and leisure consultancy.
• Engage with RoSPA's policy teams for a joined-up approach to water and leisure safety.
• Responsible for quality checking water and leisure consultancy work from colleagues and associate consultants, conducting quality checks for commercial and project proposals and reports.
• Auditing leisure centres and swimming pools for safety management systems
• Ensure that health, safety and environmental risks are adequately assessed and controlled in respect of your own job role and those of reporting staff.
• Be responsible for data protection compliance
