Job summary

A small warehousing and distribution company in Brighton is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor. You will oversee Health and Safety across three warehouses, managing risks such as racking and lifting operations. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH General Certificate and come from a warehousing background. This position offers a salary of £30k and the opportunity to work autonomously as well as within a team.

Qualifications

• Must come from a warehousing & distribution background.
• Experience as a Health and Safety Advisor is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Health and Safety onsite at three warehouses.
• Manage risks related to racking, FLT’s, Lifting Operations, DSE and Manual Handling.

Skills

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent

Membership of IOSH

Working knowledge of LOLER

Experience with racking inspection

Ability to work autonomously and in a team

Location: Brighton Area

Salary: £30k

A small, warehousing and distribution company are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join their team. The company has three small warehouses in the Brighton area that you will oversee the Health and Safety onsite. The main risks on these sites will be racking, FLT’s, Lifting Operations (LOLER) DSE and Manual Handling.

Health & Safety Advisor – Person Requirements:

The ideal candidate MUST come from a warehousing & distribution background as a Health and Safety Advisor. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

• Hold a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• Member of IOSH
• Good understanding and working knowledge of LOLER
• Experience with racking Inspection (Sema or Equivalent)
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
