Job summary

McQueen's Dairies is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor/Facilities Admin Support to join our Birmingham team. You will support risk assessments, conduct FRA, and help maintain compliance across depots.

In this role you will lead in-house health and safety training, review incidents, and produce reports with improvement recommendations. A NEBOSH certificate and IOSH are preferred; experience in food and drink sector is advantageous.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate required
• Tech IOSH (minimum) required
• Experience in food and drink sector preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the risk assessment process and identify how risks could be reduced
• Carry out FRA for all Depots
• Outline safe operating procedures which identify and consider all relevant hazards
• Review the depot inspections/audits in MYC to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented
• Review the actions produced from MYC to ensure completion
• Ensure working practices are safe and comply with legislation
• Lead in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks
• Keep records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements
• Review incidents and accidents in MYC and produce statistics for managers
• Advise on a range of specialist areas, e.g., fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, and occupational diseases
• Produce schedules for the facilities team
• Review the schedule for legal and statutory compliance

Working pattern: Monday - Friday (Day shift)
