Role Overview

Health and Safety Advisor – 12 months FTC, Salary £45,000, Location: Wiltshire, working across property services and development & asset management directorates within the Group.

Responsibilities

• Assist managers and colleagues within property services and development & asset management directorates with support, advice and guidance on health, safety and welfare matters to ensure legal obligations are met.
• Act as an advisor to in‑house projects, responsive repairs services and outsourced construction projects supporting the development, review and implementation of risk assessments and construction phase plans for work activities identified as high risk.
• Carry out site inspections and monitor directly employed operatives and support contractors working on the company's behalf to ensure works are carried out in accordance with agreed plans.
• Work closely with the head of health and safety and other managers across the business to ensure continual improvement of health and safety standards and foster a positive safety culture.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General certificate.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
