Health and Safety Advisor - Nottingham

Our client is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team in Nottingham. This is a great opportunity to join an award-winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy and develop your career within an established team. A competitive salary of £30,000 - £50,000 with an excellent benefits package is offered for the successful candidate.

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will work across sectors including Education, Retail, and Construction. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, a NEBOSH Certificate, IOSH Qualification, and proficiency with digital and cloud-based systems.

Job Overview

1. Provide Health & Safety support to clients.
2. Conduct health and safety management audits across various sectors.
3. Prepare reports on hazard identification, accident investigations, and funding applications.
4. Support colleagues on health and safety matters.
5. Deliver and develop CPD-accredited Health and Safety training, including asbestos management, accident investigation, and manual handling.
6. Assist with property-related health and safety issues, including Fire Safety, Asbestos, and Legionella Management.
7. Help develop local policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

1. Reside in or near Nottingham.
2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Health & Safety.
3. IOSH Qualification / Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Essential).
4. Comfortable with digital and cloud-based systems.
5. Willing to travel UK-wide if required.
6. Possess a Full UK Driving Licence.
7. Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
