Responsibilities

• Assist managers and colleagues within property services, development and asset management directorates and across the Group with support, advice and guidance on health, safety and welfare matters to ensure legal obligations are met.
• Act as an advisor to in‑house projects and responsive repairs service and outsourced construction projects, supporting development, review and implementation of risk assessments and construction phase plans for high‑risk activities.
• Carry out site inspections and monitor directly employed operatives and support contractors to provide assurance works are carried out in accordance with agreed plans.
• Work closely with the head of health and safety and other managers to ensure continual improvement of health and safety standards and a positive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must have a NEBOSH General Certificate.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
