Overview

Our Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for maintaining the high levels of Health & Safety, Quality and Compliance across our Compco premises and sites.

Are you looking for your next Health and Safety Advisor role? With exceptional attention to detail, you, as a Health and Safety Advisor, will act as a central function of the SHEQ team at Compco Fire Systems. Together, we can redefine what’s possible for the future of the Fire Protection Industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out regular inspections on construction sites.
• Monitoring Sprinkler installation process from start to finish.
• Testing/reporting on quality of work.
• Ensuring measurements and material usage follow initial plans.
• Liaising closely with SHE Manager and construction project managers.
• Checking for any defects/H&S breaches.
• Providing reports of inspections and suggesting improvements.
• Making sure installations codes and safety issues are adhered to.
• Marking up drawings detailing site changes.

What You’ll Need

• Proven Experience in a Health and Safety Advisor Role or Similar.
• Excellent knowledge of the Construction industry.
• A Qualification in Health and Safety such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
• Exceptional Attention to Detail.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Full UK driving license.

This role would require the successful Health and Safety Advisor to be within commutable distance to our sites across the Southeast region of the UK.
