A leading international civil engineering company is seeking a Health and Safety Administrative Assistant to provide clerical support to the health and safety team. You will assist with documentation, manage records, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This full-time role offers a starting salary of £25,000 to £26,000 per year and is a permanent position based in Clwt-y-bont, Wales.

Qualifications

Health and Safety Administration Assistant My client is a leading international civil engineering company, specialising in complex market segments such as Transportation, Energy, Tunnelling, Building, Civil and Structural Engineering.

This is a 12 month FTC, with possibility for extension if they believe you are a good fit for the company.

Purpose of this role: To assist in the preparation and administration of documentation and record specifically for the health and Safety project Team (training skills matrix, monthly internal and external joint meeting reports, Themis uploads, etc) To produce and analyse trends of date Internal and external meeting minute production Other duties as agreed mutually with the Health, Safety Manager.

Role Accountabilities

To assist the Health and Safety team with clerical and administrative assistance Assist the project by ensuring the effective operation of the induction and onboarding process, Be the first point of contact for all induction related queries and ensure the inbox is monitored and queries answered within a reasonable time.

Work closely with the training coordinator to ensure relevant training competencies are captured at induction and maintain the training skills matrix with competencies and qualifications to comply with health and safety regulations.

Liaise with HR Advisor to foster continuous improvement with the induction/ onboarding process and implement new processes.

Responsible for managing and filling records and maintaining security of sensitive documents Responsible for minute taking in a variety of internal and external meetings Manage meeting rooms for the team in the main site office, ensuring booking procedures are followed.
