Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Head Waiter to lead daily restaurant service, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and support the Front of House team. You will greet members, coordinate with kitchen and bar, recommend items, and maintain a pristine dining environment.

With 2–3 years in premium dining and strong leadership, you will oversee service, train staff, and uphold VIP standards, delivering polished, memorable experiences for members and guests.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a high-end dining environment with supervisory experience.
• Excellent F&B knowledge, including wine service.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a hands-on approach.
• Familiarity with POS and reservation software.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, present menus, engage contact upon seating.
• Take orders accurately, accommodate dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen/bar for timely delivery.
• Recommend menu items and pairings.
• Maintain exceptional table service and beverage service.
• Keep a clean, well-set dining environment.
• Handle guest requests and special accommodations.
• Process payments via card, app, or House Pay.
• Maintain discretion with VIPs and PWKs.
• Lead daily restaurant service and supervise staff.

The Role…

At Soho House, a Head Waiter plays an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and Front of House team, you will oversee service operations on the floor, ensure staff are well‑guided and professional, and maintain the high standards that reflect the identity of the club.

Your main responsibility is to ensure that members have an enjoyable experience. You will deliver excellent service from initial greeting, taking orders, making recommendations and paying of the bill.

What we are looking for...

• 2-3 years in a similar high‑end dining environment, with experience in a supervisory or senior waiter position
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge, including wine service
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a hands‑on approach
• Confident, polished, and professional demeanour
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills
• Familiarity with POS systems and reservation software
