Job summary

Medmatch is seeking a Head Veterinary Nurse for a purpose-built clinic near Hertford, offering ultrasound, digital X-ray and a varied surgical caseload. This leadership role provides no out-of-hours, structured shift patterns, and a welcome bonus to support your transition.

You will lead audits, appraisals and training for nurses and VCAs, drive high clinical standards and workflow efficiency, and inspire the clinical team daily in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Nurse with RVN status.
• Experience leading teams or departments in a vet setting.
• Experience conducting audits and delivering training.
