THE ROLE:

Cameron Spa is award winning. Our state-of-the-art hydro and thermal facilities include the iconic rooftop infinity pool. There’s a VIP couple’s room with mineral bath, steam room and private balcony, and Rasul mud chamber, steam room and relaxation suite.

Our team of highly qualified therapists deliver a treatment menu for all occasions be it a full-day indulgence or express treatment, guests are sure to leave relaxed and rejuvenated.

As Head Spa Attendant your scope will be to support the Spa Manager by leading your shift and overseeing the day-to-day performance of the spa attendant team.

Key things you will be responsible for:
  • Proficiency in the tasks of Spa Attendants, including walkrounds, maintaining locker rooms, cleaning and tidying all areas including toilets and showers, replenishing amenities, receipt of deliveries, and handling laundry
  • Leading daily briefings and handovers
  • Organising the daily workload, delegate tasks and coordinate breaks
  • Monitoring performance via checklists and SOPs
  • Providing feedback, and undertake informal counselling to support improved performance
  • Supporting the team with any shift challenges
  • On job training of new employees
  • Handling and resolving guest feedback
  • Departmental requisitions

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
  • HND/NC/SVQ or equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience in hospitality or tourism related field
  • Experience of supervision and of working in similar spa, leisure or beauty environment
  • Thorough, with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly build excellent working relationships
  • A flexible approach to work to meet operational demand
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic IT skills with knowledge of Office software and ability to use technology
  • UK Driving Licence preferred due to the shift pattern and spread out nature of the resort
