Head Production Chef – Main Kitchen & Pastry Experience (Straight Shifts)

New opening

A great opportunity has arisen for a production head chef with pastry experience to join an events company who are opening their first restaurant outlet specializing in quality British pies and pastries.

Previous chef background in premium comparable bakery/pastry‑oriented production or event/operations essential.

Hands‑on pastry product experience to include sweet and savoury pastries.

Role
  • Responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the new opening with a capacity of 50 plus take‑out/events.
  • Maintaining consistency/GP of food.
  • Maintaining a healthy, fun and productive working environment with high staff morale.
  • Responsible for the completion of all necessary administrative duties.
  • Recruitment, training and development of the team.
  • Strong on due diligence; fully up to date on current health‑safety‑hygiene legislation.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven history as a chef with pastry production experience; extra restaurant/gastro experience an advantage.
  • Stable working history with excellent checkable references.
  • Maintains professionalism under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Calm professional demeanor and passion for delivering great product.
Salary & Benefits

£35,000 – £40,000, with excellent growth opportunity in an expanding and successful company.

5 days per week – hours flexible but likely 6 am – 2/3 pm.
