Job summary

Tesco Head Office in London’s Farringdon is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will maintain a safe, functional environment for customers and colleagues.

You’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems, prioritise safety and quality, and work with a team to keep the site running smoothly. This role offers training and progression within a leading UK retailer.

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician at Tesco Head Office in Farringdon, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our building remains a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.

You’ll be the primary point of contact responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment, helping to keep our operations running smoothly.

Your work will directly impact the Head Office London experience of thousands of colleagues every day.

You’ll use your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently, always prioritising safety, compliance, and quality.

This is a hands‑on role that requires a proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high standards.

You will be responsible for

You will need

As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards.

This role is located at a fixed site in Farringdon, London, and will require personal travel/commute on a daily basis.

• Previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment
• Digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails
• Operational Skills: ONC or equivalent

• Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.
