Job summary

A growing real estate business is seeking a qualified accountant to join its expanding finance team in a broad and varied Head Office Accountant position. Reporting into senior finance leadership, this opportunity is ideally suited to an ACA-qualified accountant looking to make their first move from practice into industry.

The role offers significant responsibility from day one, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the chance to play a key role within a high-performing finance function.

Qualifications

• Strong technical accounting foundation and a commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Willingness to take ownership of deliverables and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end accounting and reporting for multiple entities.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and management reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Assist with statutory reporting, audits and compliance requirements.
• Support cash flow reporting and working capital management.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls and reporting frameworks.
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support business decision making.
