A regional transport authority is seeking an experienced leader to shape and deliver transport investment programmes in the North East. This full-time, permanent role requires expertise in transport planning and infrastructure delivery. You will lead a high-performing team to enhance connectivity and engage with various stakeholders. A competitive salary package ranging from £83,663 to £88,633 per year is offered, along with flexible working arrangements.
The North East Combined Authority is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking leader to shape and deliver the region’s transport investment programmes. We’re seeking a dynamic professional with expertise in transport planning, infrastructure delivery and funding. You’ll lead a high-performing team responsible for developing, managing and implementing complex transport programmes that enhance connectivity, sustainability and growth across the North East. Working across local, regional and national partners, you’ll influence investment decisions, secure funding and ensure our transport programmes are delivered effectively and efficiently. With excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, you’ll combine strategic vision with the ability to make things happen in a fast-paced, high-profile environment. Location: The Lumen, St James\' Boulevard, Newcastle upon Tyne, various ‘spoke’ offices throughout the North East and remote working arrangements
Salary: £83,663 - £88,633 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
