Job Title: Head of Training

Salary: Up to £45K (DOE)

Job Type: Permanent

The Role

My client within the cosmetics industry is seeking a Head of Training to join the team in their head office. You will be responsible for planning and organising training programmes for new joiners and ensuring they are up to date with companies’ policies and compliance. You will be a crucial part of the smooth operation of the business. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational and experience with training staff members as well as relevant qualifications listed below.

What you’ll do
  • Creating and refreshing relevant in-house training programmes and resources
  • Selecting the most appropriate training methods to new starters
  • Develop, deliver, assess and contribute to feedback systems on practical training
  • Performing staff assessment to identify knowledge gaps and areas in need of improvement
  • Liaising with management to create annual training plans and program
  • Researching and recommending new training techniques to line manager
  • Support in hiring new staff
Who you are
  • Familiarity with various training methods and techniques
  • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint and computer skills
  • Excellent leadership skills and presentation skills
  • Formal treatment training record and experience (waxing and laser)
  • Former therapist experience
