Job summary

Far'n'Beyond Ltd. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Trading or senior hands-on trader to shape global strategy and lead high-value buying and selling activity across proteins and non-hedgeable commodities. Office-based in the North-East England with frequent international travel.

Reporting to the Board, you will mentor a trading team, drive margin optimisation, and ensure compliance with trading regulations while expanding the company's international footprint.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on trading background with leadership aspiration.
• Experience in proteins, frozen foods, seafood, meat, poultry, pork or similar non-hedgeable markets.
• Strong commercial finance, budgeting, forecasting and supply chain understanding.
• Willingness to travel frequently and operate across international markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on trading activity across proteins and non-hedgeable commodities and develop global strategy.
• Oversee international trading, contribute to key deals and mentor trading team.
• Identify and secure new opportunities across seafood, meat, poultry and wider markets.
• Build and maintain profitable supplier and customer relationships across regions.
• Use market insight and competitive intelligence to guide decisions and manage risk.
• Take responsibility for commercial performance, margin optimisation and P&L delivery.
• Represent the business at trade shows, customer meetings and industry events worldwide.
