A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for the Head of Student Marketing & Recruitment to join the University’s College of Social Sciences (CoSS). We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking leader to oversee student recruitment and marketing on a College-wide basis.
In this influential role, you will develop and implement student marketing and recruitment strategies for CoSS, establish a matrix management approach with School leads, define and monitor shared KPIs, and provide insights to support strategic planning. You will also manage recruitment and marketing budgets, ensuring efficient resource deployment.
You will act as the key liaison with central External Relations, aligning activities with institutional objectives and contributing to policy development.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of digital marketing, market intelligence, and student recruitment methods, with substantial experience in a senior marketing or recruitment role within higher education or a similar complex organization. Experience in international student recruitment and transnational education is essential.
Job Purpose:
To provide strategic leadership and oversight of student recruitment and marketing activities across CoSS, developing and implementing strategies in collaboration with School leads and External Relations to ensure alignment with university priorities.

Salary: Grade 8, £49,559 - £57,422 per annum.
This is a full-time (35 hours/week), open-ended position. Relocation assistance available.
