Job summary

A recruitment agency seeks a Head of Strategic Transformation to lead the delivery of the NIAS Strategy to Transform 2020-2026. The ideal candidate will have significant senior management experience in complex organizations and be skilled in managing complex projects, including PRINCE2 certification. This is a 6-month contract role based in Belfast, offering £31.82 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of senior management experience in a complex organization.
• 5 years of senior management experience may substitute for a degree.
• Certification in PRINCE2 or equivalent is required.

Overview

Keenan Recruitment has been retained by Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) to recruit for aHead of Strategic Transformation.

• Pay: £31.82 per hour (Band 8b)
• Contract: 6 months with possibility of extension
• Location: NIAS Headquarters, Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Saintfield Road, Belfast.

Job Summary

The post holder will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the delivery of the NIAS Strategy to Transform 2020-2026 and contributing to the overall improvement of the business. This will involve working closely with the NIAS Senior Management Team (SMT), HSC Directors of Performance and Planning, Local Commissioning Group Leads and Project Leads to achieve innovation and see the reform of services associated with the implementation of the Strategy to Transform 2020-2026. He/she will also be responsible for leading the NIAS Strategy Implementation Group.

Criteria

• A university degree or equivalent and at least 3 years\' senior management experience in delivering services in a demand led, large complex organisation.
• OR
• At least 5 years\' senior management experience in delivering services in a demand led, large complex organisation.
• PLUS
• Project management skills, including certification of PRINCE2 or equivalent, underpinned by experience of managing complex projects.
