Job summary

Plextek is seeking an experienced leader to head its multidisciplinary software department, reporting to the SVP of Engineering. You will provide direct line management for senior team members and oversee all software activities across embedded, DSP, FPGA, and AI/ML, driving quality and delivery excellence.

This role sits close to Cambridge and involves supporting project planning, resourcing, and strategic improvements.

• Technical leadership across software domains and teams.
• Breadth across embedded software, DSP, FPGA firmware, cloud, and AI/ML.
• Experience in line management, managing managers, and developing teams.
