Our Cybersecurity team is seeking a Head of Global Head of Security Operations Centre. In this role, you’ll lead Inchcape’s Global SOC, driving the protection of our information assets and ensuring our systems’ confidentiality, integrity, and availability. You’ll provide strategic direction, expert leadership, and operational oversight monitoring, detecting, and responding to cybersecurity threats across our IT and cloud environments. You’ll champion continuous improvement, coordinate major incident responses, and foster a culture of proactive, threat-led security and compliance.

What you’ll do
  • Lead and manage the Inchcape Global SOC team, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Set strategic direction and oversee daily SOC operations to ensure high standards.
  • Act as the central coordinator during major cyber incidents, delivering timely and actionable updates to leadership.
  • Design, maintain, and improve SOC tools, processes, and playbooks for effective incident response.
  • Orchestrate and oversee cybersecurity incident investigations, ensuring thorough and evidence-based outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in security posture, risk mitigation, and incident response capabilities.
  • Establish and maintain clear metrics and reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
