A Multi Academy Company in Worcester seeks a Head of School for Our Lady Queen of Peace. The successful candidate will provide leadership in Religious Education and enhance the school’s curriculum. The Directors of Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company, supported by the Archdiocese of Birmingham, are looking for an ambitious, experienced and suitably qualified practising Catholic to carry out the exciting role of Head of School at Our Lady Queen of Peace. The school boasts an inclusive culture where pupils feel that differences are celebrated (Ofsted, November 2023).
Our Lady Queen of Peace is a lovely school situated in the St John’s area of Worcester. The leaders and staff expect pupils to be kind, polite and hardworking and constantly strive to provide opportunities to enable pupils to achieve their personal best. We have a committed staff team, a supportive and knowledgeable Local Governing Body and very strong links with our local parish.
Working under the direction of the Executive Principal, the successful candidate will have the expertise and vision to lead Religious Education and further enhance the strong Catholic ethos of this warm and friendly school. In addition to responsibilities for the day-to-day operations of the school, the Head of School will also lead on Curriculum, Assessment and all attendance, behaviour and assessment related initiatives. The successful candidate will also be a member of the school’s safeguarding team.
Directors are looking for an outstanding, highly motivated practitioner, with experience of whole-school improvement who is able to work with all staff to ensure that all Our Lady Queen of Peace children reach their potential.
