This is not just a Head of Sales Planning role for Norton; it is a global leadership role that scales with the international expansion of Norton and our parent company, TVS Motors.

Duties/Responsibilities
Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Act as the global owner of consolidated sales demand inputs into the S&OP process across all international markets.
  • Partner with S&OP teams to influence order management, allocation logic, and system developments.
  • Lead sales demand contributions to rolling forecasts, inventory planning, Long Range Planning (LRP), and capacity planning.
  • Align with Commercial Planning and regional leadership teams on sales targets, phasing, and forecast assumptions.
Sales Planning and Performance Management
  • Lead monthly and quarterly sales planning and performance reviews across global regions.
  • Ensure alignment between Regional Sales, Sales Planning, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Partner with Marketing on promotional and BTL planning, ensuring demand uplift is forecasted, tracked, and measured.
  • Contribute to the development of globally scalable sales toolkits, booking platforms, and field-facing planning tools that embed targets, phasing, and performance visibility.
Sales Operations & Governance
  • Design, develop, document, and continuously refine global Sales Planning and Sales Operations SOPs, covering forecasting, target setting, dealer processes, and governance.
  • Own the consolidation of regional sales plans into a single global sales plan, ensuring consistency, transparency, and accountability.
  • Define and maintain dealer legal standards (LOIs, agreements, renewals, terminations) across regions.
  • Lead financial due diligence processes for new dealer appointments internationally.
  • Create and maintain dealer pitch decks, proposals, and sales materials used across multiple markets.
  • Establish and manage global reporting cadences covering dealer pipeline, sales plans, forecast accuracy, and plan vs actual performance.
  • Ensure all documentation, legal copies, and vendor databases are accurate, current, and compliant across markets.
  • Support the development of dealer portals, LMS platforms, and digital sales aids with global applicability.
Dealer Network Collaboration
  • Partner closely with regional Sales and Network Development teams to ensure sales planning inputs reflect dealer pipeline, readiness, and capacity across markets.
  • Translate dealer maturity, footprint, and performance data into actionable sales demand and capacity planning assumptions.
  • Ensure Sales Planning and Sales Operations processes actively support regional dealer growth strategies.
Wholesale & Retail Finance
  • Establish and manage global standards for wholesale and retail finance partners, including financial terms, legal clauses, and promotional mechanics.
  • Oversee documentation, governance, and compliance requirements for finance partners across regions.
  • Drive performance reporting and cadence for retail finance, feeding insights into sales forecasting, promotional planning, and demand modelling.
Personal Specification
  • Industry Knowledge: 10+ years of experience in Automotive, Motorcycle, or Dealer Network businesses with a deep understanding of international dealer ecosystems and sales channels.
  • Sales Ops Mastery: Proven ability to design SOPs, manage the dealer lifecycle, and drive sales governance across multiple markets.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of dealer financing, margin structures, and finance partner operations in diverse economic environments.
