Head of Sales - Omnichannel Growth & Transformation

£60k base + car allowance + bonus | Solihull | Hands-on Leadership

We're working with a £10m garden & landscaping brand at a pivotal point of growth. Following a recent acquisition, they're building a modern sales engine across Trade, Retail, and Telesales, with a Manufacturing arm supplying national accounts like Travis Perkins.

This is not a figurehead role - it's a chance to roll your sleeves up, lead from the front, and transform sales culture across the business.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead & coach teams across Trade, Retail and Telesales - bringing energy, focus and accountability.
  • Build and deliver a joined-up omnichannel sales strategy: drive new business while growing existing accounts.
  • Shape process & performance - set KPIs, cadence and smarter ways of working.
  • Protect and grow margin through pricing, product mix, and sourcing collaboration.
  • Stand up telesales as a proper function and integrate it with online / retail.
  • Support rebrand & packaging of the Manufacturing division to unlock new channels and scale.
What you'll bring
  • A credible sales leader with a coaching style - equally comfortable on the shop floor and in the boardroom.
  • Proven experience driving sales transformation (pace, KPIs, processes, culture).
  • Strong commercial acumen: margin-focused, data-aware, and a sharp eye for opportunity.
  • Track record of winning new business and embedding account management discipline.
  • Omnichannel experience (trade, retail, telesales; e-comm awareness).
  • Industry knowledge in horticulture / landscaping is a nice-to-have, but not essential.
