The Role

You’ll lead all aspects of sales, client engagement, and business development across our London locations.

Your primary goal will be to convert incoming leads into long-term personal training clients, build meaningful client relationships, and drive retention.

Beyond that, you’ll play a hands‑on role in shaping Angel Gyms’ future, improving systems, exploring growth opportunities, and helping evolve the business model as we scale.

This role combines sales performance with strategic contribution. It’s ideal for someone entrepreneurial who enjoys both direct results and long‑term business impact.

Key Responsibilities
Sales
  • Manage all new leads and enquiries, ensuring fast, personalised follow‑up via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
  • Conduct and lead client consultations, delivering high conversion rates.
  • Track and report on conversion metrics, lead sources, and consultation outcomes.
  • Refine sales processes to maximise efficiency and conversion performance.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to improve lead quality, streamline communication, and drive higher conversion rates.
Client Engagement & Retention
  • Monitor client engagement and attendance across both sites.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to encourage consistent attendance (2–5 sessions per week).
  • Identify and re‑engage clients at risk of dropping off, using tailored communication.
  • Collaborate with trainers and operations to ensure an exceptional client experience from consultation through to long‑term retention.
  • Track and report retention metrics, aiming to extend the current 14‑month average client lifespan.
Business Development
  • Work closely with the CEO on company‑wide business development and strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with the COO on growth initiatives, scaling plans, and service development.
  • Develop and implement ideas for improving the client journey, referral systems, and revenue growth.
  • Assist in refining pricing models, partnerships, and new service offerings.
  • Contribute to long‑term planning and help shape the evolution of Angel Gyms’ business model.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally in fitness, wellness, or high‑end service industries (other industries considered)
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Commercially minded with a genuine interest in business growth.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment and contributing beyond defined responsibilities.
  • A genuine interest in health, fitness, and personal development.
